How many IT companies that offer both Microsoft & Open Source Solution at once?
(Please let me know your own good and own words. Anyone answer me in detail first get the 10 points best answer. Thank you in advance!) Open Source means here: Apache, MySQL, PHP, Ruby on Rail Here's what Microsoft: C #, VB.net, ASP.net, MS SQL Server I want if there are many companies that concentrate the two solutions at the same time? Otherwise, how will mean more IT companies will be chosen?
It is rare to find both supported in a IT organization. This is not to say that they are mutually exclusive because it is the cost of having staff to support both. As he become more complex, than it took to do the work to specialize. About the only ones that offer both will be companies that specialize in IT outsourcing, they will tend to provide solutions for any platform where there is money to be made. Back 15 years ago on my first job as a developer, one of the experienced developers made a comment that was true, and still very true. Go Microsoft, everyone is busy trying to catch up in a game rigged. In addition, it is unfair to group open source vs. Microsoft this way. it are many applications closed-source commercial running on Apache and other open source platforms. And not all open source products are products for free. Sure the source code may be available, this does not confer the right to use the software. And of course there are plenty of solid open very good source based on Microsoft technology.
