How come my optical mouse dosent work on my computer?
The light on the optical mouse turns on but dosent move. I’ve tried it on a different computer and works fine. Its a ps2 mouse.
Check to see that the device is connected correctly and securely
Scan for viruses. There are a few viruses out there that can impair mouse and keyboard operations, so update your antivirus software and then scan your system, just in case
Make sure you’ve installed—and are using—the correct and most recent device driver.
Give it a quick cleaning. Accumulated dust, crumbs, and other debris are the natural enemies of input devices. You can solve many problems just by giving them a simple cleaning. Before you do so, don’t forget to shut down your computer and disconnect your input devices.
Have A Backup
