What are the advantages of creating a full screen website?
My boss wants our website to be full screen so there is no space on the right/left side. But we have a big image that we want to use in our homepage and because it has to be full screen it won’t adjust properly. The full page is causing the programmer so much hassle. Are there benefits to this full screen webpage that we don’t know about?
It’s not the screen size people have. It’s what browser window size they use when online. I keep mine at 1024 x 768 on a 22-inch monitor, but I design pages for around 800 pixel wide. There are methods to sniff out window size and redirect to a new CSS or page. Better to just try to reach a balance using a more flexible page. See following:
