I need some help…its to do with my msn?
I have a packard bell h5 series laptop. For some strange reason, it won’t let me sign into msn, it keeps saying…..”signing in to NET.messenger service failed because the service is not compatible with this version of program.” How do i fix this and sign in again???
Thank you for your help
it says..unable to connect to the SOCKS proxy server. Check your proxy server settings on the connection tab.
It’s looking for a proxy server which is a way of connecting to the internet through another computer. I’m presuming this particular computer has connected to the internet in the past and that you’ve got some kind of network cable or wifi connection.
If you’re using Internet Explorer, RIGHT click on the Internet Explorer icon to get Internet Properties. Select Connections and click on the LAN settings button. Uncheck the box next to Proxy Server. Now keep clicking OK until all the windows are closed. Open Internet Explorer.
If you’re using Firefox, open Firefox and select Tools > Options and click on the Advanced Tab. Next to where it says Connections, click on the Settings button. Check the “No Proxy” radio button. Now keep clicking OK until you’re back in Firefox. Close Firefox count to 10 and open it again.
