What is Ethernet? I take a class and I am really confused about the access methods that are used.?
When do you use CSMA / CD and when you use switching? I need to set three buildings are wired with Cat 5 and can upgrade to 100 Mbps. I guess I connect with the buildings and use fiber optic 100BaseFX a skeleton? Can anyone help me? Also, how does the architecture Ethernet get its name? I'm just curious.
